I love to create spaces for you to be able to come, slow down and have the space to tune into your body and needs. Please see below for my current offerings in Christchurch. I also offer 1:1 sessions either in person here or on zoom if you live somewhere else.
My area of expertise is in Therapeutic yoga working with people moving through rehabilitation, trauma and chronic pain. When working with these things movement can be a brilliant tool but the key is the right movement. Often generic classes won't work for everybody so in classes I always offer modifications and encourage students to listen to their own bodies.
These are tailored sessions using specific yoga poses and breathwork practices to help ease Chronic pain, the symptoms that come when living with certain medical conditions.
When facing pain and health challenges it's easy to let movement slip out of your routine but movement is incredibly important and can help to ease the symptoms getting in the way of living, leaving you with more room to enjoy life. These sessions are designed to empower you with safe practices and tools you can use at home.

I am privileged to be one of the facilitators working with ÅŒTSY (ÅŒtautahi Trauma Sensitive Yoga). These classes offer warm-hearted and inclusive Trauma-Sensitive Yoga for ACC sensitive claims. The classes are gently paced throughout the 8 weeks, so new tools and strategies can be introduced in class and practiced in participants everyday lives.
If you are currently engaged in ongoing regular therapeutic support with an ACC therapist you may qualify for these classes. You and your therapist can find out more by clicking the button below. Specific yoga poses and breathwork practices tailored to you and your needs.
These sessions offer safe practices that you can do at home. My areas of specialisation include managing chronic pain, physical rehabilitation for illness and injury and tools to support someone through trauma.
