This course is designed for beginners to take you through simple foundational breathwork techniques that you can easily apply into your every day life.

They are potent, quick practices as I'm not someone to sit around for an hour each day to breath or meditate. I prefer to have 5-10 minute practices that I can incorporate throughout my day to keep me focused and on track. Each video starts with an explanation followed by a demonstration of how to do each technique which then leads into a guided practice for you to follow along to. By purchasing this course you will have ongoing access to it meaning you can come back to the videos at any time.

The techniques we will be covering include:

Belly Breathing

Box Breathing

Mid chest breath - Heart opening for emotional release

Upper chest breath

Breathing for anxiety

Breathing to increase energy

And how to integrate these into your life

Course Duration: 2 hours  |  Investment: $55 NZD

What is breathwork and why is it such an important tool for our health and wellbeing?

Breathwork is a general term used to describe any type of therapy that utilizes changes in breathing patterns to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

Our brain and body function on energy. In Ancient traditions, breathwork has been used both therapeutically and as a path of spiritual awakening for thousands of years. This includes Pranayamas in Yogic practices and a variety of breath-centered meditations in Buddhism, Taoism, Sufism, Christianity, Shamanism, and martial arts. Breathwork is nothing new, but it has had a big revolution in the last 60 years.

Most of the Modern Breathwork therapies used today started during the consciousness-raising era of the 1960s and 1970s, and they continue to evolve through different programs, scientific research, and studies.

In yoga breathing practices are called Pranayama which directly translates to energy control, prana being the Sanskrit name for energy. In the yogic perception, prana is the most important aspect of the living body and brain. This vital energy is the power that supplies the body, brain and the nervous system. It is the essential life force bringing life to the body.

Although we all breath automatically - our amazing bodies doing this for us many times a day, every single day, the majority of us are shallow breathing and only using about 10% of the full capacity of our lungs. This is why conscious breathing is so important and can have such a profound effect on your health. Imagine how differently you could feel if you were using 100% of the Prana and oxygen available to you instead of a mere 10%. Most people don't ever get to experience just how good they can feel in their bodies when using the right tools.

I invite you to remain curious through out the practices and see what effects they create internally for you. I also invite you to research and explore the world of breathwork - attend classes and workshops, read books but most importantly of all, find what works for you as and know that what works will change throughout your life as your needs change.

“I’ve just purchased and gone through Natasha’s Breathwork for Beginners course where she shows how to do 11 different breathwork techniques – some to calm the nervous system and some to boost and energise our system.  The videos are between six to fifteen minutes each and are easy to follow and breathe along to Natasha’s clear instruction. She also offers extra tips about what’s happening in the body when we breath a certain way.  Tash has a wealth of breathwork knowledge and this short course is well worth the investment!  I highly recommend it."
