Somatic Release Sessions

As a trauma-informed practitioner trained in somatic release, I guide people through evidence-based practices that support the nervous system in unwinding patterns of stress and stored trauma. This work uses movement, tremoring, breathwork, and embodied awareness to activate the body’s natural capacity to release tension and restore regulation.

 

In my sessions, you’ll learn to safely access and discharge what the body has been holding, creating space for resilience, clarity, and a renewed sense of connection to yourself. My approach is grounded, professional, and rooted in both lived experience and proven somatic techniques designed to help you feel more balanced, calm, and empowered.

Complex trauma can lead us to numb our emotions and develop body hyper-vigilence. This is when the body becomes tense in a continual bracing for potential threats of danger. While is is understandable that our body holds onto stress, tension and past trauma continual holding patterns can contribute to chronic Complex trauma often leads to emotional numbing and heightened bodily vigilance, where the nervous system remains in a constant state of tension, bracing against perceived threats. While this response is the body’s way of protecting us, prolonged holding patterns can contribute to chronic pain, digestive disturbances, fatigue, and even autoimmune challenges.

In my sessions, I integrate a range of evidence-informed somatic modalities to guide you through precise movements that help release stored tension and restore regulation. This process can naturally reduce pain, inflammation, stress, anxiety, and trauma responses, while enhancing energy, clarity, resilience, and balance. A unique strength of this work is that it does not require you to revisit or verbalise past events. It can be profoundly effective on its own, or serve as a powerful complement to talk therapy.

I offer workplace wellbeing sessions designed to support staff in reducing stress, improving focus, and enhancing resilience. Using evidence-informed somatic practices, I guide participants through simple, effective movements and breathwork that release tension held in the body and regulate the nervous system. These sessions help alleviate common workplace challenges such as fatigue, anxiety, and muscular discomfort, while promoting clarity, energy, and balance. Practical and accessible for all levels, this approach equips employees with tools they can integrate into daily life, contributing to a healthier, more engaged, and productive workplace culture.
